Jamesie's Photo Shoot

Today we received a link to the pictures from Jamesie's photo shoot last Thursday. As Thursday and Friday were some of the last days when James could still smile, we are incredibly grateful to Katie and her team for these pictures. They were worth the haircut and shave on my part, and we are so glad we had the chance to show off our boy again. James is beautiful and wonderful.

  4. I just stumbled on your blog today through a link from another blog I follow. I have spent the past hour ready about your amazing family and your sweet baby boy. My prayers are with the three of you over the next weeks. This mom of 5 is incredibly humbled by the strength of your love for your child, and your difficult decision to bring him home for as long as you can. I pray that you have a beautiful, peaceful time as a family, loving your child back into the arms of God.

  15. I have commented before but I found your story through a mutual friend, jen mcrady about a week and a half ago and have been reading daily ever since. These pictures and video are so beautiful and break my heart at the same time. I have sobbed countless tears for you and your sweet angel baby and am continually lifting you up in prayer. I pray that you are overwhelmed with the comforting prescence of the prayers being said for you but more importantly with the prescence of Jesus. I have an 8 month old baby boy as well and I thank you for encouraging me to NEVER take any moment with my son for granted and for making me a better mommy in the future. Your faith is inspiring, your sweet angel has flooded so many hearts and lives and I will continue to pray for a miracle for your angel baby. Covering you in prayer tonight and the days to come.

  19. I've read all the way back, and in response to something you said a couple of times, I would never dream of judging the decisions you're making for your family.

We have three children and are expecting a fourth now ... and even as I type that, it feels cruel to me to share that with you. But I want you to know that I feel the deepest, deepest sympathy for you, a sympathy that can only be shared by a fellow parent.

You are all in my prayers and my thoughts as you continue to struggle. May the Lord blanket you in peace this evening and in the coming days, weeks and months.

  29. What a beautiful son you have. His eyes are captivating! His smile is breathtaking, and oh that hair!!!

We are so sad for you. My son was looking over my shoulder last night as I read your blog. I have never had tears from reading someone's story, but your James definitely touched my son and I. He asked me today how the cute little boy was doing.

Oh for this to just be a terrible nightmare and for you to wake up. Prayers and thoughts go to you.
